    The Cadaqués Orchestra was founded in 1988 at the Festival of Cadaqués on the initiative of a group of young musicians from different countries. At the time Jaime Martín was a flutist with the new ensemble. Both orchestra and musicians have moved forward and Jaime Martín now works incessantly as an orchestral conductor, thanks to the support of Neville Marriner. Since 2010 he has been chief conductor of the Cadaqués Orchestra.
