Tango, as well as flamenco and jazz music, is a collective creation built by proletarian men and women who lived in Buenos Aires at the end of XIXth century. For Alicia Chust tango is the answer to this melting pot that included the musical traditions brought by immigrant people and grew up in orfeones and rondallas.
