The most important influences in the development of Tomás Marco’s style come from the Darmstadt school but they are combined with a wide range of other elements, reflected in the variety of genres and aesthetic approaches found in his extensive production. He has taught at the Royal Conservatory in Madrid and is a distinguished critic, educator and writer on music.
