Riba-roja d’Ebre

Born in Riba-roja d'Ebre, Jordi Griso i Alabart studied at the Taller de Músics in Barcelona. He obtained a degree in modern and jazz music from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). He has been the conductor of the Academic Big Band, the TGN Big Band, and the Banda Municipal de Tortosa.

As a composer and arranger, both in the symphonic and jazz field, he has collaborated with the Ensemble de Saxòfons de Barcelona, the Spanish Brass metal quintet, the Quartet Manfred, the Lira Ampostina, the Banda Municipal de Barcelona, the Percussions de Barcelona ensemble, the Orquestra Nacional Clàssica d'Andorra (ONCA), and the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra. He is also the author of several radio and television jingles.
