On March 28 and 29, the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and National Orchestra of Catalonia, conducted by Ludovic Morlot, will premiere Domini Màgic, a work for voice and orchestra by Feliu Gasull. The soloist will be Sílvia Pérez Cruz, who has collaborated with the composer on other occasions.

Domini Màgic is a piece conceived in four movements. The first, solely instrumental, takes as its starting point an aphorism by the poet Enric Casasses. The second uses a folk song, a common resource in Gasull's music. The third is a lullaby set to the rhythm of bulería. And the fourth movement, the longest and the title track, sets the poem of the same name by Joan Vinyoli to music.
