The Vallès Symphony Orchestra recovers Juli Garreta's 'Mediterranean'
'Mediterrani' by Juli Garreta is a symphonic work in one movement. Published by Tritó Edicions, this piece captures the serenity and vitality of our sea, with flowing melodies and suggestive rhythms.
This work has been chosen to inaugurate the three concerts that the Vallès Symphony Orchestra will perform this September. Under the direction of Xavier Puig, the program also includes the 'Concerto for piano no. 2' by Sergei Rakhmàninov, with Albert Guinovart as soloist, and Modest Mussorgsky's 'Quadres d'una exposizione', which will be accompanied by the images of the artist Borja González, created with sand and projected on a screen.
The first of the concerts will be on Friday the 20th at the La Faràndula Theater in Sabadell, and the other two will take place on the 28th and 29th at the Palau de la Música Catalana, in Barcelona.
