Under the musical direction of Ernest Martínez-Izquierdo, the ESMUC Symphony Orchestra performed the opera Babel 46 by Xavier Montsalvatge in a chamber version by Albert Guinovart. It was last January 18, 2024 at L’Auditori and on the 23rd of the same month at the Teatre de Sarrià.

As part of the "Opera Workshop" project, the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya organized this production with singing and acting students. Professor Susana Egea was in charge of stage direction.

From Tritó Edicions we have collaborated with this recording, given that Babel 46 is a work in our catalog.
