Within its Amalgama label, the publishing house Tritó has just published "Les cuirasses de la veu. Body and emotional tools for observation and intervention", by Cecília Gassull. In this book, the author leads us, through different processes, to a deep knowledge of the voice and its connection with the body understood from a holistic perspective; and he does it from theory and from practice, as a result of the experience accumulated over years from the academic field and as a therapist.

It is, therefore, an excellent work to access the concept of the "armors" of the voice, that is to say, those impediments that block the free emission of the voice and expression, following the defined method by the author as AkiAra.

Thus, apart from the theoretical foundation, we will find observation and intervention practices that, together with numerous examples of real cases and specifically illustrated exercises, make this text an extremely useful tool for all professionals in the voice and for all those who, without being so, are also interested in having the resources proposed by the author, both bodily and emotional and of internal dialogue.
