Although we don’t sure if Albéniz composed music for guitar, the transcriptions of his music for this instrument have been transcendent. Tárrega’s transcriptions of Tárrega and Segovia’s performances have contributed to the popularization of the piano works by Albeniz. This record includes some of these transcripts and other by the guitarist Javier Riba who gives us in this album an elegant interpretation.
